All Federal Way Public School staff and students are eligible to install Microsoft Office at home for FREE!

There is no cost to download and run the full version of Office. You can also access the Microsoft Mobile apps on smartphones or tablets. 

All Federal Way Public School scholars (preschool through 12th grade) and all staff with an Office 365 account are eligible.

Microsoft Office FAQ's

How many copies of Office can I install?

Each students and staff member can install the Office software on up to 5 home computers (MAC or PC) , 5 mobile devices (IOS and Android), and 5 smart phones.  (The software should not be installed on district computers because these computers already have Microsoft Office on them.)

What Operating Systems and devices can I install Office products on?

Office will work on Windows 7 or greater, Mac OS X 10.6 or greater.

Mobile Apps for Android and Apple are available for Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote and more!

Will I be able to keep the copy of Office once I graduate or leave FWPS?

No. The install of Office is tied to your district account. For a student or staff member who is no longer enrolled in the Federal Way Public School District, the Office installs you performed under the account will become read-only, so you will not be able to edit files with them.

To install a free copy of Microsoft Office 2016 on your home computer, you will need to open a browser and log into Office 365. Then, click "Install Office 2016". See the document below for more details.
